New AMYA Region 1 Regional Director
Robert Hill has stepped back from his position as Region 1 Regional Director. Thank you for your efforts Rob.

Please welcome Glenn Chalder of Simsbury, CT as the new Region 1 Director, appointed by Chuck Millican to fill the vacancy. In his first act as Regional Director, Glenn acquired the AMYA banner and proudly flew it at the Bow Lake, NH RC Laser Region 1 Championship yesterday September 8. And finished third in the regatta! Glenn has been racing model sailboats for a few decades, and in a prior life, was EC-12 Class Secretary. He sails EC-12s and RC Lasers. Welcome Glenn and thank you for agreeing to take on this role!
