Thanks to all the sailors who showed up to race on a beautiful October Saturday. Palm Coast town center pond is notorious for variable wind directions, but we were happy to have fairly steady wind and wind direction.

As with any regatta it is a team effort to make sure it all comes together, especially true for our clubs first regatta. Charlie Sumner, who was in charge, expertly taught us with advanced visit, phone conference for regatta planning and race day. The club pulled this regatta together under Bob Rupps tireless leadership. Commodore Bill Wells created the beautiful trophies, and ran his little Boston Whaler to rescue boats and take on the water photos. Ken Berger was well prepared to make sure boat inspection and participant registration ran smoothly. Sarah Hartley arranged the coffee and doughnuts, Peter Lancaster Jr arranged the lunch enjoyed by all. Sandy and Abby kept accurate race results and loaded into Afleet.
