WIMMYC 2025 Fall Fun Regatta DF95 - AMYA #223, Region #4
Lake Belle View, Belleville Wisconsin - September 13th

The inaugural Fall Fun Regatta DF95 hosted by members of the Wisconsin, Illinois & Minnesota Model Yacht Club (WIMMYC) was an enjoyable sailing experience for sailors, their families and spectators in Belleville Wisconsin. We enjoyed sunny warm weather, abundant wildlife and southeasterly winds that gradually diminished by end of the day.

We were honored to host sailors from six AMYA clubs and thankful to the many volunteers who helped make the regatta a success. WIMMYC appreciates the work of Drew Eveland at the Village of Belleville Public Works, Debi Buol and her Lingonberry Llama staff for our lunches.

We are indebted to Jeff Gros as Race Director and Debbie Bierman as Assistant Race Director. Special thanks go to these individuals for their volunteer contributions: Bob Ambruster (Yard Signs), Larry Hayslett & Dawn (Chaseboat - overnight marina slip donation), John Kuehl, Second Lake Woodcrafts (Trophies), Johnny, Joe & Karen Richmond (Additional Drone Buoys), Tom & Carla Wolf (Belleville area PR & chaseboat donation).

A shout out goes to our kind and dedicated sailors, many of whom traveled long distances to participate in our two day event. The sailing was competitive and respectful which you'll see in the attached race results… with six different sailors finishing at least first in one of twenty races. We appreciated the compliments and camaraderie between sailors… it was a memorable sailing experience.

The regatta was a success and it could not have happened without you!
