It was a nice warm autumn day in Seattle, Washington. Winds were light and variable in the morning, but shifted to a good northerly in the afternoon. Peter Conze, an accomplished light air sailor, scored six firsts and two seconds, enabling him to win his eighth consecutive T-37 National Championship. Thirteen boats sailed 16 races with 4 discards.
